"moving on."
wad does it actually mean?
when we move on, we carry on living our lives. but do we continue carrying our past burdens and hobble our way forth? or do we throw everything down and start afresh?
honestly, we can never start afresh. well, according to my experiences. we'll always be haunted by past memories. memories which remain as your darkest secret forever no matter how much you want to forget. things you want to forget, you will tend to rmb. things that you wish you never forgot, it slips your mind so damn easily. like a bar of soap. no matter how hard you grip it, it slips off ever so easily.
pple who were once your frens, you forget their names. pple whom you detest a lot, you will oso forget their names one day. how can you guarantee that fifty years down the road, you can go, "hey, i rmb eunice ying! she was my jc classmate.."? or ten years later, you try to recall something real funny which happened to you and your best fren and end up saying," ermm... rmb last time, when we....... errrh....... wad did we do?"
so actually, keeping a record of your life does helps. it can help to bring back memories that could have been lost. at least you wont go, "hey, wad have i been doing all my life?"
no matter how we move on, we will always want to look back. wont we? so can we call that moving on? when we're actually carrying the burdens of the past?
i think im speaking nonsense here cos my brain is starting to shut down~
