while sweetbreads, which aren't sweet, are meat.

and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor a pig.
Why is it that writers write,
but fingers don't fing,
grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables,
what does a humanitarian eat?
Why do people recite at a play and play at a recital?
Why do we ship by truck and send cargo by ship?
Have noses that run and feet that smell?
Park on driveways and drive on parkways?
How can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same,
while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?
How can the weather be hot as hell one day and cold as hell another?
When the stars are out, they are visible,
but when the lights are out, they are invisible.
And why do I start my watch when I wind it up

For most of us the problem with love is that we cannot imagine that we deserve it in its immensity. So we do everything we can to limit its scope and thus force it to fit into the tiny and often petty images we have of ourselves. Our task then is to resist all temptation to block the flow of love and allow it to teach us once and for all who we really are.
Forgive me if I am a bit blunt in what I am about to say but I cannot find another less confrontational way to speak this truth. I pray it will be as useful to you as it has been to me.
I doubt very seriously that you have even a vague idea of who you really are.
If you hold on to even a small amount of self-hate you do not know who you are.
If you put anyone, even a saint, above you then you do not know who you are.
If you are depressed then you do not know who you are.
If you think you are an inferior person then you do not know who you are.
If you feel inadequate to face, manage or overcome any obstacle in this life then you do not know who you are.
If you fear the future then you do not know who you are.
If you believe that you have done things that are unforgivable then you do not know who you are.
If you think of yourself as ordinary, nondescript or insignificant then you do not know who you are.
If you constantly define yourself by your past then you do not know who you are.
If your family defines you then you do not know who you are.
If you believe that you are powerless to change anything in your life then you do not know who you are.
If you think you are unable to forgive someone who has hurt you then you do not know who you are.
If you think that you cannot transform your life into something wonderous and miraculous then you do not know who you are.
If you do not have a clear sense of your valuable purpose in this life then you do not know who you are.
If you do not know that you are absolutely and completely lovable then you do not know who you are.
If you can accept even for a moment that you do not know who you really are then you will be open to incredible changes.
If you can accept even for a moment that you might be wrong about the limitations that you have used to define yourself then you will be open to miraculous changes.
Question: Do your current ideas and beliefs about your self serve you well?
Are they created or defined by your past or by something far greater and more miraculous?
Question: If you continue to hold so tightly to your current self-definition, where will you be in 10 years? Or 20 Years? Or 30 years?
Question: Does your current definition of self liberate you, up-lift you, heal you and inspire you?
Question: What is the central source of your self-definition?
Where and to whom do you go to find out who and what you are and can be?
Today, I invite you to explore a new Source for self-definition.
This Source has incredibly good news about your real and true nature. This Source will shatter the old dark and rigidly limited version of self that has brought you so much hurt and disappointment and pain. This Source will bring you to your knees in tearful thankfulness for all you will come to know about who you really are.
What is this Source? It is the voice of God that speaks to us through holy Scripture and the sacred writings of the mystics. If you will pause for even a moment and open your ears to this Voice then you will never be the same again.

I thought:
How could a human’s worth ever be such?And God knowing all our thoughts – and all our thoughts are innocent steps on the path – then addressed my heart,
God revealed a sublime truth to the world,
when He sang,
“I am made whole by your life.
Each soul,each soul completes me.”
“Then God said, “Let us make people in our image, to be like ourselves.” Genesis 1:26.
“For the Kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21 (Jesus speaking).
“All the talents of God are within you. How could this be otherwise when your soul derived from His genes!” Hafiz
If what you believe about yourself is anything less than what is described above then you have not begun to discover your true being. What if today was the day you opened your mind and heart to this idea? What if today is the day? What do you have to lose except the pain of the old image? What would you have to gain other than a transformed life?
If you are beginning to realize that you are made of love then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you know that you have already been forgiven for everything you have ever done then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you know you have already been forgiven for everything you will ever do then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you know that you have the power to forgive anything that could possibly be done to you then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you have realized that you have the capacity to hold the suffering of this entire world in your heart then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you know that you have the capacity to face and transform all that life can bring then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you have come to see that you are magnificent beyond all your imagined limits then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you know that you are here to bring a special gift that is only yours to bring then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you are aware that your past has absolutely no hold on your future possibilities then you are on the edge of the real you.
If you have begun to discover that your humanity is the doorway to your divinity then you are on the edge of the real you.
I rarely offer homework with my newsletter articles but this day is different. Give it a try.

everytime my mother angry with me.. everytime say i no keep the clothes, no wash the dishes.. WHEN I ACTUALLY DO. i do one chore late, she bleh bleh bleh. no do one thing right, she bleh bleh bleh. anything i do, she bleh bleh bleh. wad's her BLOODY problem?!
so angry with her.
i dun like her. but i love her.
dammit.
