HE brought me out this evening.. and introduced me to a chef from the US! his name is wayne.. been in sgp for around one and a half yr.. currently at the prive i guess?
and while the two of them were chatting (abt serious stuff k), i was just there listening.. and it's so cool! listening to their life experiences and business ideas, etc...
veri much makes me feel like a small fry.. physically, mentally and everything-ly.. makes me wanna rethink how i want my future to be though :D
do i wanna set up my own biz, or be an employee?
i'll want to have my own biz, cos i like having headaches over such stuff :D i'll wanna think of ideas how to sell my stuff, how to appeal to the masses, how to make the perfect product.
i rmb that i was rather evil in sec skool.. there was once in sec 2 or 3 where GB gals had to sell cookies to raise funds.. i would charge at prices which i deem fit for the quality of cookies im giving, as well as according to how much money is in my classmates' pockets.. not at $2 a packet.. instead, i made smaller packets and sold at 60 cents :D and i would give out phonecards.
the phonecards were given to me by my bro after some uni event.. loads of leftover phonecards and he just dumped them to me.. so i was thinking, hey why not i give out freebies to those who buy $2 of cookies from me? den i give them a phonecard of an equal monetary value? hehe......
and just now, the two of them were talking abt setting up a new biz, and since it's abt fine dining, ambience matters rite? and so on.. and HE mentioned aquaponics! which appealed to wayne since it's a totally fresh idea to him :D and it's damn cool.. designs of an aquaponic system was starting to surface in my mind, i was thinking of using wad to cover up the dirty part of the stuff and enhance the beauty of the beauty of the idea..
and i've started to look out for wad kind of fish to use, and wad plants we can grow, etc :D
this is so exciting!! but maybe, the idea may be shelved if wayne loses passion in this thing.. which is fine, gives more time to generate more ideas anyway :D
