just back from my first driving lesson!! and i oso went to collect my A level cert [today's last day for collection]..
first driving lesson, do predrive check.. den i got into moving forward and reversing.. man, i had to adjust my seat to the most front sia.. and i still cant really rest my right foot on the pedals!
den we went onto circuit, did many many right turns... and after that the instructor told me that for our next lesson, we'll be doing left turns :]
honestly, i onli like the parts when i get to accelerate.. wanted so much to go up to 40km/h.. but... circuit... at most go a lil beyond 20km/h den gotta stop oredi..
==========================================================
damn, i miss my colleagues.. sms-ed cam just now.. she oso miss me! haha~ LENZ....... i mizz lenzz.. i want him to be my godpapa and be the father i always needed. take care of me, be the hero in the family, and dun always yield to my mother. everytime when im bullied in skool, there'll be a daddy saying,"how DARE they bully MY daughter!?"
problem was, i had no daddy saying that. and while his daughter was being bullied in skool, he's out there mistress-ing.
dammit.
no, i dun find myself pitiful bcos of that i guess.. i always wanted to be independent.. so it must be best that our situation stays like this. he steps out of my way, i step out of his. in name, we're family. but in real fact, i dun know him veri well.
oh, i got out of point.
and i dun feel like blogging oredi.. lemme rot for today :]
2 events.
june's 19th bday.
my last day at pfssg.
an arrival, and a departure. today arrives the 1-9 for june. today, i depart from the place i have grown attached to.
distributed some choc and sweets to my colleagues.. wanted to pass some to those in accounts, but i ran out of stuff.. and i didnt even have the chance to say goodbye to some peeps over there at accts~ so sad. but, i did reserve some for lenz, my pfssg ccc-rush.. fortunately and unfortunately, i didnt have the chance to see him for the last time. the last time i saw him was on monday, and he left at 4pm.. that will be the last time i see him from now on. from that moment until now, i still feel kinda sad.. didnt get to say bye to him.. so i left the stuff on his desk and put "PS: wo jue de ni hen shuai!!" as a note for him.. hehe~
lenz... sayanara..
oh, and i sent some emails to the few vendors whom i have corresponded a lot with and such.. will miss nagging them~ really. i've grown used to nagging at those from electric channelling, e-star, elite machinery, nsk, kian ho, mis belt, panasonic electric works, fuji chem, kawachi, hrd, etc.. oh my, i forgot to say bye to hrd!!!
hai~ nvm..
and when emailing to the japanese vendors, i always start with "dear Wada San, pls...", "dear Satoshi san,..." so cute! and they reply with "dear Eunice san,.."
i love being called Eunice san.
or you can call me Eunice chan..
once heard bala being called "bala-chan"... so cute la!! that's a term which you onli use on pple you feel close with.. i think.
oh and i realise that darren's [one of the managers] got big hands!! his hand literally engulfed mine when we shook hands.. den richard puah [general manager] got looong fingers.. still got who shook hands with me ah? i forgot oredi..
ohhh, and i didnt have the chance to say bye to calvin as well cos he's on leave until tmw....
and louis. until now, i still couldnt muster the courage to say bye to such a charismatic guy.. he literally exudes the charm and confidence which i know i lack. and he seems to be so comfortable with his surroundings, so comfy until i feel out of place and uncomfortable in my skin.
stood beside him once in the elevator and he's soooo tall!! omg, at least 1.8m.. haha~ i didnt even dare to look up sia..
lenz's not as tall but it's nvm.. lenz's still one balding, middle-aged yet HOT guy.
i miss the pfssg peeps sooooooooooooooooo much!!
i know i hardly left them for a day, but i miss them oredi..
cammmm.... yuliiiiii..... hazeeeeeeeel...... i miss you 3 the most.. out of the women.
and i miss a lot of men. HAHA~

dun ask me wad and why. just accept."
?
i guess my mindset did change. rite now, i feel more free and i have more zest for life and i no longer feel unwanted. rite now, i feel that life IS moving on~
but still, im not gonna disclose wad happened.
readers, just be happy for me k? cos rite now, im really happy. i think
23 June 2007
wah, was soooooooooooo nervous. nervous until my heart was at my throat~
we met at around 4.07 pm [cos just nice he called me on the phone and i saw him] and walked to a place to talk.
talked abt scrabble, abt tvb [ooooh.... we're practically kindred spirits when it comes to the tv industry], abt global warming [interesting conversation topic eh? may the world end sooner], etc..
after that he went to meet his frens while i went to grab a bite..
went to west mall's burger king.. and i saw this HUNK. yea, in capital letters. and he's in this skintight, white shirt.. muscles were bulging sia. den we look at each other, and we went back to our food. HAHA~
anyway, shall stop blogging since i got nth to blog oredi..
eunice, out!
deny thy father and refuse thy name.
or if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love.
and i'll no longer be a capulet.
tis but thy name that is my enemy.
thou art thyself though not a montague.
wad's montague it is not hand or foot,
not arm nor face or any other part belonging to a man!
wat's in a name, that which we call a rose,
by any other name would smell as sweet.
so romeo would, were he not romeo called,
will retain that perfection without the title.
it is a part of shakespeare's work "romeo and juliet" and adapted by my sec skool, fmss. in 2002, my skool made a play for this wonderful work at nus, charging $16 per seat. and they didnt follow the words. they translated the play to slightly modern english and vola! fmss's one and onli romeo & juliet.
and they sold cds featuring all the songs they sung at the play.. i bought one and i sing along as the songs are played.. so nicee~ and i realise that i can sing! haha~
if you want the songs, i may send you the songs.. but some singers are disappointing. so some songs disappoint me.
21 June 2007
so far, many are surprised that i idolise leslie cheung. well, sorta idolise. he's everything i want in a man, i guess. sensitive enough to get depression. brave enough to face death. cowardly enough to shy from life itself. and perfect. to me, he was perfect.
okae, oldies songs such as "the great pretender", "touch by touch", "it must have been love", etc.
here's the mtv for "it must have been love"
see? the song's sooo nice!
one of the reasons must lie with my environment. i have siblings who are older than me by a decade.. my bro and my sis.. one 29, one 32.
haha..
========================================
HAI. i admit, i miss lenz. oh, you knew that since last week? okae, i just wanted to repeat myself. it's been 8 days~ my eye candies are not around!! so nowadays, i either feel damn normal, or feel damn lethargic, or damn bored. okae, i've been feeling those feelings with or without my eye candies.
budden come to think of it, i cant bear leaving so many peeps like cam, whom i can bully and she'll bully back.. i've grown used to many things in office. doing receiving everyday, printing and filing reports, expediting the vendors, creating printing faxing POs, then chasing vendors to quickly acknowledge the POs and advise a delivery schedule.. seems like im handling the local vendors. cam will handle hq. haha, the vendors are oredi so familiar with my voice until i just intro myself out of habit and politeness, no longer out of necessity.
nowadays i've grown so familiar with my surroundings that i can walk around blindfolded. haha~ i've even made frens with the accountants below my level~ and there's the deliveryman, [mr kong/ ah mun/ chee mun] who helps us to collect stuff from those vendors who sent their goods to pfssg tuas instead of the warehouse in changi.
dunno wad im toking? nvm~
haha~
20 June 2007
dun you get it dun you get it now, dun you move.
stay where i can see you, douse the lights~
ahhhh... P!ATD rocks.
rite now, im still listening and watching the concert at denver, colorado.
it just keeps climaxing after each and every song. climax gets higher and higher. there's never a quiet moment.
brandon urie.. nice name. then there's spencer..and ryan ross... eric... and there's this guy whom i cant spell his name. den is there a john walker?
im bad with names.
and the dancers! the concert looks just like a cabaret. dunno wad's cabaret? go check the dictionary. and it's not a brothel. i refuse to associate a cabaret with those lowly brothels.
after watching Cabaret last year, i fuuuuully and gladly know the meaning of that word. i love that C-word.
and ryan ross has a rather good singing voice :] real good. brandon as well. both have nice voices.
inside, wad a wonderful caricature of intimacy~
went to visit P!ATD's website and i clicked onto the link to them "live" at denver, colorado!
http://fbrplus.com/?v=1-979366810-1019472003
damnnnnnnn nice. at least this time, Brandon isnt drunk.
and by the fourth song, brandon [lead singer] was sweating like mad. but it's fine. and there's reason to sweat when you are wearing such thick clothes and singing so much.
rite now, he's singing "karma police". not their song, but it sounds so right coming out from them.
oh and as i type so slowly, they've gone onto the next song! CAMISADO! oh my, brandon's voice is breaking. he's really into the song~ i like this spirit!!
haha~
oh man, i cant wait for their next album!!
even though i kinda expected it [despite those stories of rejection from sim], i felt better.. at least a uni wants me. have been reading rejection letter after rejection letter from the 3 national unis.
and i have to pay how much? $3,675. plus gst (5%), it'll be $3743.25. and that's before i even step into the skool to study.
wow...
i see money sprouting wings and flying away.
19 June 2007
can it be that my hymen is blocking the flow? cant be la.. since i do have flows.
i cant be pregnant cos im still a V.
oh my... not premature menopause.. no.. im too young for that.
thoses causes like "contraceptives", "breast-feeding", "medication", "low body weight", "excessive exercise" and "uterine scarring" are naturally out of my cause-list.
oh my.. i feel afraid. veri afraid.
and then i read this article from http://www.healthsystem.virginia.edu/uvahealth/peds_adolescent/amenr.cfm
and i decided to just blame my amenorrhea on the word "obesity".
since i AM fat. haha~
Amenorrhea
Introduction
Amenorrhea — the absence of menstruation — can happen during puberty or later in life. Primary amenorrhea describes a condition in which you haven't had any menstrual periods by age 16. Secondary amenorrhea occurs when you were previously menstruating, but then stopped having periods. Pregnancy may be your first thought if you miss a period, but there are many possible explanations for absence of menstruation.
A sign, not a disease, amenorrhea seldom results from a serious condition. However, not knowing why menstruation has stopped can be stressful, and waiting for it to recur may feel like a lifetime.
But don't hit the panic button. With a little investigation into your medical history and an accurate description of what you're experiencing, you and your doctor can usually get to the root of the problem. Treating the underlying problem can resolve amenorrhea.
===Signs and symptoms===
The main indication that you might have amenorrhea is that you don't have menstrual periods. Here's what to look for in primary and secondary amenorrhea:
Primary amenorrhea. You have no menstrual period by age 16.
Secondary amenorrhea. You have no periods for three to six months or longer.
Depending on the cause of amenorrhea, you might experience other signs or symptoms along with the absence of periods, such as milky nipple discharge, headache, vision changes, or excessive hair growth on your face and torso (hirsutism).
===Causes===
---Primary amenorrhea---
Primary amenorrhea affects less than 1 percent of adolescent girls in the United States. The most common causes of primary amenorrhea include:
1. Chromosomal abnormalities.
Certain chromosomal abnormalities can cause a premature depletion of the eggs and follicles involved in ovulation and menstruation.
2. Problems with the hypothalamus.
Functional hypothalamic amenorrhea is a disorder of the hypothalamus — an area at the base of your brain that acts as a control center for your body and regulates your menstrual cycle. Excessive exercise, eating disorders, such as anorexia, and physical or psychological stress can all contribute to a disruption in the normal function of the hypothalamus. Less commonly, a tumor may prevent your hypothalamus from functioning normally.
3. Pituitary disease.
The pituitary is another gland in the brain that's involved in regulating the menstrual cycle. A tumor or other invasive growth may disrupt the pituitary gland's ability to perform this function.
4. Lack of reproductive organs.
Sometimes problems arise during fetal development that lead to a baby girl being born without some major part of her reproductive system, such as her uterus, cervix or vagina. Because her reproductive system didn't develop normally, she won't have menstrual cycles.
5. Structural abnormality of the vagina.
An obstruction of the vagina may prevent visible menstrual bleeding. A membrane or wall may be present in the vagina that blocks the outflow of blood from the uterus and cervix.
---Secondary amenorrhea---
Secondary amenorrhea is much more common than primary amenorrhea. Many possible causes of secondary amenorrhea exist:
1. Pregnancy.
In women of reproductive age, pregnancy is the most common cause of amenorrhea. When a fertilized egg is implanted in the lining of your uterus, the lining remains to nourish the fetus and isn't shed as menstruation.
2. Contraceptives.
Some women who take birth control pills may not have periods. When oral contraceptives are stopped, it may take three to six months to resume regular ovulation and menstruation. Contraceptives that are injected or implanted, such as Depo-Provera, also may cause amenorrhea as can progesterone-containing intrauterine devices, such as Mirena.
3. Breast-feeding.
Mothers who breast-feed often experience amenorrhea. Although ovulation may occur, menstruation may not. Pregnancy can result despite the lack of menstruation.
4. Stress.
Mental stress can temporarily alter the functioning of your hypothalamus — an area of your brain that controls the hormones that regulate your menstrual cycle. Ovulation and menstruation may stop as a result. Regular menstrual periods usually resume after your stress decreases.
5. Medication.
Certain medications can cause menstrual periods to stop. For example, antidepressants, antipsychotics, some chemotherapy drugs and oral corticosteroids can cause amenorrhea.
6. Illness.
Chronic illness may postpone menstrual periods. As you recover, menstruation typically resumes.
7. Hormonal imbalance.
A common cause of amenorrhea or irregular periods is polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS). This condition causes relatively high and sustained levels of estrogen and androgen, a male hormone, rather than the fluctuating levels seen in the normal menstrual cycle. This results in a decrease in the pituitary hormones that lead to ovulation and menstruation. PCOS is associated with obesity; amenorrhea or abnormal, often heavy uterine bleeding; acne and sometimes excess facial hair.
8. Low body weight.
Excessively low body weight interrupts many hormonal functions in your body, potentially halting ovulation. Women who have an eating disorder, such as anorexia or bulimia, often stop having periods because of these abnormal hormonal changes.
9. Excessive exercise.
Women who participate in sports that require rigorous training, such as ballet, long-distance running or gymnastics, may find their menstrual cycle interrupted. Several factors combine to contribute to the loss of periods in athletes, including low body fat, stress and high energy expenditure.
10. Thyroid malfunction.
An underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) commonly causes menstrual irregularities, including amenorrhea. Thyroid disorders can also cause an increase or decrease in the production of prolactin — a reproductive hormone generated by your pituitary gland. An altered prolactin level can affect your hypothalamus and disrupt your menstrual cycle.
11. Pituitary tumor.
A noncancerous (benign) tumor in your pituitary gland (adenoma or prolactinoma) can cause an overproduction of prolactin. Excess prolactin can interfere with the regulation of menstruation. This type of tumor is treatable with medication, but it sometimes requires surgery.
12. Uterine scarring.
Asherman's syndrome, a condition in which scar tissue builds up in the lining of the uterus, can sometimes occur after uterine procedures, such as a dilation and curettage (D and C), Caesarean section or treatment for uterine fibroids. Uterine scarring prevents the normal buildup and shedding of the uterine lining, which can result in very light menstrual bleeding or no periods at all.
13. Premature menopause.
Menopause usually occurs between ages 45 and 55. If you experience menopause before age 40, it's considered premature. The lack of ovarian function associated with menopause decreases the amount of circulating estrogen in your body, which in turn thins your uterine lining (endometrium) and brings an end to your menstrual periods. Premature menopause may result from genetic factors or autoimmune disease, but often no cause can be found.
===When to seek medical advice===
For primary or secondary amenorrhea, consult your doctor if:
You've never had a menstrual period, and you're age 16 or older
You've previously menstruated, but have missed three or more periods in a row
===Screening and diagnosis===
Although amenorrhea rarely results from a life-threatening condition, it can encompass a complex set of hormonal problems. Finding the underlying cause can take time and may require more than one kind of testing.
First, your doctor may have you take a pregnancy test. Your doctor may also perform a pelvic exam to check for pregnancy or any problems with your reproductive organs. If you're not pregnant, your doctor will perform a physical examination and ask about your medical history. In young women, this exam will include checking for signs and symptoms of changes that are normal to puberty.
The next step may include blood tests to check your hormone levels, for instance a thyroid function test or evaluation of your prolactin level. A progestin challenge test — in which you take a hormonal medication (progestogen) for seven to 10 days to trigger bleeding — may be another kind of test your doctor administers. Results from this test can tell your doctor whether your periods have stopped due to a lack of estrogen.
Depending on your signs and symptoms — and the result of any blood tests you've had — further testing may be needed. Imaging tests, such as computerized tomography, magnetic resonance imaging or ultrasound, can reveal pituitary tumors or structural abnormalities in your reproductive organs. Finally, laparoscopy or hysteroscopy — minimally invasive surgical techniques to view your internal organs — may sometimes be recommended.
===Treatment===
What type of treatment you need — if any — depends on what's causing the amenorrhea. Your doctor may suggest that you make changes to your lifestyle depending on your weight, physical activity or stress level. If you have PCOS or athletic amenorrhea, your doctor may prescribe oral contraceptives to treat the problem. Amenorrhea caused by thyroid or pituitary disorders may be treated with medications.
===Self-care===
The best way to avoid an interruption in your menstrual cycle is to maintain a healthy lifestyle:
Make changes in your diet and exercise activity to achieve a healthy weight.
Strive for a healthy balance in work, recreation and rest.
Assess areas of stress and conflict in your life. If you can't decrease stress on your own, ask for help from family, friends or your doctor.
Be aware of changes in your menstrual cycle and check with your doctor if you have concerns. Keep a record of when your periods occur. Note the date your period starts, how long it lasts and any troublesome symptoms you might experience.
Talk to your mother, sister or other close female relatives. Has anyone else in your family had a similar problem? Gathering this information can help your doctor determine what's causing your amenorrhea.
Amenorrhea may cause anxiety, but by working with your doctor, you can determine the cause and find ways to regulate your cycle.

enough naggings.
i get cam nagging at work.
i get my mother nagging at home.
why carry on repeating wad you've said when you have oredi gotten your point thru!?
i just cant take any more naggings.
and when i let you know that i have gotten your point, you say that im being rude.
and for heaven's sake, im oredi working and earning money. so can you STOP saying that money is hard to earn and that i dunno how hard it is to get a salary?!
you're the one who've not been out in the working industry for 3 decades.
and yes, you gave up all your time for your children. well, most of your care and concern went to your dear dear son. your concern for me is just out of responsibility and a way to kill time, isnt that rite?
everytime you're toking abt your son, be it gd or bad. EVERYTIME i hear you tok abt your son as if he's your everything. im always last.
anything i do, you get angry. everything i dun do, you oso get angry.
everything your son do and dun do, yes you do get angry.
but somehow, all your anger is directed at me. be it whether you're angry with him or me.
im just sick and tired of the word "favouritism"
i was working halfway when i tot i heard my name. den my head cocked up towards that direction where my "name" came from. den i saw louis.
den i realised. he was introducing himself on the phone. and it seems that our names sound rather familiar.
louis. eunice.
there's the "u" and the "is" in both names. no wonder i heard wrongly.
17 June 2007
on that very day, it was after work and i was on the company bus and stuck in the regular traffic jam. den when the traffic started moving, i stopped smth. i saw lenz's car just RIGHT BESIDE me!!! no, i shall not disclose the licence plate here. so i happily and excitedly looked into the car and vola! there's lenz seated comfortably on the driver's seat, one hand holding his hp and the other hand on the steering wheel..
i sincerely hope that lta does not read abt this. i will refuse to testify against him and i will immediately delete this post and quit blogger. okae, kidding. i dun think i can stop blogging..
and then he drove past my bus.
and given that the lane i was on was SLOW and his was FAST, and im on a bus which was on the edge of breaking apart and he's on a 3-yr-old Lancer car,
he was gone in no time.
so the ecstatic moment was gone. :[
Lyrics: Buck Ram
Music: Buck Ram
Oh yes, I'm the great pretender
Pretending that I'm doing well
My need is such I pretend too much
I'm lonely but no one can tell
Oh yes, I'm the great pretender
Adrift in a world of my own
I play the game but to my real shame
You left me to dream all alone
Too real is this feeling of make believe
Too real when I feel when my heart can't conceive
Oh, yes, I'm the great pretender
Just laughing and gay like a clown
I seem to be what I'm not, you see
I'm wearing my heart like a crown
Pretending that you're still around
Too real is this feeling of make believe
Too real when I feel when my heart can't conceive
Oh, yes, I'm the great pretender
Just laughing and gay like a clown
I seem to be what I'm not, you see
I'm wearing my heart like a crown
Pretending that you're still around

yes, i've been high.
this time im woohoo-ing mainly bcos of yesterday's encounter with lenz~
my pfssg crush of the moment~~
okae, yesterday i was oredi overjoyed to see that he came to work late. why am i happy to see him late? cos for the whooooole morning i tot that he'd not be coming to office starting from yesterday. how i know his schedule? c'mon, the whooooooole office can see who's on leave and who's not cos everybody [except for the temps] have to fill in their "timetable" on a whiteboard.. and lenz's department's whiteboard is practically a pebble's throw away.. not stone, but pebble.
and he brought my exhilaration to a higher level by TALKING to me! it's omg, the shuai-est guy who's height level is the ideal height level i want in guys, is asking me if im eating alone!!
haha..
actually, i was going back to office from my lunch break and he was going to the canteen to have his early lunch.. our paths crossed and we were the onli ones there, so sure need to say smth mar, otherwise veri odd rite? there'll be the awkward silence.
hai, ended up i just nodded and giggled.. until now i realised that i actually giggled. and i giggled cos i received lenz's megawatt smile, full-blast!!
aw~ im floating....
~~~~fly~~~~
and soon, i'll land veri badly onto the ground when i leave pfssg.
that's why crushes are called crushes..
when you fall in love with someone you shouldnt, you'll end up crushing.
13 June 2007
woohoo!! i was looking around, googling when i chanced upon this vid where a jap guy plays the Canon in D with his electric guitar.. it's omg!! sooooo nice! even though his hand action at the start kinda put me off, at the later part, the music just blows me off!!
for THIS rock version of Canon in D, you can blast it off your stereos!! it's just so nice! dunno wad other words to describe my feeling.. it's the type of song which you wanna nod your head to, not the type which you hum to yourself. it's soooo cool!
and the 5:24 long video wasnt enough, so i had to set it to continuous playback. :]
hm, and while finding a way to embed the vid onto my blog, i found the youtube version!
and it looks like the same guy in both vids, JERRYC..
so cool!
Happy, victorious one "Greek"
Versatile, intelligent and artistically talented. You love to enjoy yourself and tend to experience a happy domestic life and material success. You have a methodical and thorough mind and are able to organise large projects easily. Charming and likeable and with more than your share of sex appeal you tend to find yourself in the spotlight and much admired by others.
Life is more fun with you around.
=============================================
Fun??????? you mean im funny?
hm... yea i love to enjoy myself~ i "experience a happy domestic life?" okae la.... not veri true abt that statement. i "organise large projects easily?!"..
hm... charming, i admit. likeable, yea that's kinda true~ my share of sex appeal? huh? besides my chest, i see nth sexy on me.
MUCH ADMIRED BY OTHERS!?
bullshit. i feel so damn neglected in the crowd and here i am reading that my name entitles me to being admired.
i feel cheated.
10 June 2007
wah... yesterday veri tiring for me.
first, i left home without switching off my com so i had to amazingly teach my mother [who know nuts abt computers, no offense] how to shut down the thing.
second, i left home thinking that i will be meeting wanru at je, 3pm. who knows? sheryl asks me to go find present for wanru with her. being a nice fren, of course i go la! haha.. so had to think of smth to get wanru to forget abt waiting for me. in the end , told her that smth cropped up at home, which was partially true cos i actually intended to go back home to switch off the com~ budden still, SORRY GAL!! I BLUFFED YOU!! hai, felt so guilty when wanru asked me abt the "smth-cropped-up-at-home"... hai....... budden i gave a true answer! i said that my mother's mood improved today, which is true~ hehe~
third, sheryl got me wait an hour for her at sun plaza [at sembawang].. hai... end up i walked round and round and round the ground level.. why didnt i go to her hse and wait for her? cos according to her, the shuttle bus service has been terminated. and i forgot wad bus to take to her hse.. so, i might as wait for her in sun plaza~ and i was waiting in my wedges! so stand until quite tired la.. one thing i didnt like while waiting that time, one stuuuuupid indian guy gave me that pervertic smirk when he walked past me. hey, i wear nice not for him k? it's for myself. it's a form of self-respect and a respect for others. who can wear uglily and walk out of the house, expecting to get respected?
anyway, i wore a long sleeved top [my belated bday present from our dear dear elin], shorts [bought from ebay.. i am so gonna wear it in hk cos hk will be in summer season. and i got no other shorts besides pj pe shorts and another hand-me-down shorts which was way too short for me to wear out] and wedges.
ohhhh-kae, i got carried away.
fourth, we had dinner at around 9pm, just bcos i booked the tables at the wrong restaurant and we had to wait for another half an hour to get the tables at the correct crystal jade. grrrrrrrrrreat.
sorry peeps~
but it's my first time booking tables!
fifth, had to go home alone.. most sian thing i've been doing all my life, i guess.. i hate gg home alone. this is the one thing i require in a guy. guys should send gals home. and my mother veri naturally informed me of a murdering that happened in my neighbourhood. hello~ telling a gal that someone was murdered when that gal has to walk all the way home alone isnt veri encouraging.. wad if the gal becomes the next victim!?
bleh~ dun tok abt such things. *touch wood*
sixth, i actually read a book after everything. damn, i should've slept sia..... spent more than an hour and a half reading until i found myself drifting to sleep and finally closed the book to sleep at around 2am. and im supposed to go for a dim sum breakfast the next day!
=================================
today, i had my dim sum breakfast. and of course we were late cos my bro and i woke up late~
on the way there, my mother again, raised her voice too high while lecturing abt MONEY to her son my bro and caused my headache to return.. and she continued raising her voice, so my headache persisted for the whole car trip. i realise the importance of money, but there's no need to have so much emphasis on that rite?
fortunately, after i got to eat my fav siew mai and ha gao and century egg porridge and silverfish and bacon roll and duck meat, my headache subsided.
den we went to send my father and eric to harbourfront, send my sis to orchard and my mama, bro and me went to liang court to buy sofa.. our current sofa was practially breaking apart after 10 years.. so we bought a $799 sofa set and a coffee table which was around $399 if i recall correctly. yup, so they'll be sending the stuff either on thu or fri morning.
after getting home, i happily threw a pillow onto the floor and slept on the cool hard floor.. i think i slept for 2, 3 hours.. hehe~
the tot of gg back to work tmw wears me out. budden there's my eye candy, and cam and yuli and all the colleagues who had grown to be quite impt to me. and there is my one and only source in having an enjoyable trip in hk next month.. my salary.
so i shall go to work.
09 June 2007
anyway~
==============================
finally, the dinner has been finalised.
it'll be at 8pm, Crystal Jade Palace Restaurant.
2 tables, max 8 per table.
waaaahhhhh... my first time booking tables at a restaurant!! wahh.... so interesting.
really hope that it'll be successful~
but i do not wish that my pockets burns a hole. no matter how small that hole may be, i dun want to have another hole in my pocket.
bleh~
==============================
can someone massage my neck for me? it's aching like hell cos i didnt get to sleep properly last night~ hmm... preferably alvin cos so far, he's the best masseur i've seen..
alvin, i need your hands!!!
budden if got some other guy can massage for me, i will still gladly accept the neck massage. cos i reeeeaaaally think that guys got enough strength to ease the ache away from the muscle. gals, sorry... you need more training before you can officially start massaging other peeps!! haha~ *no offense*
and, guys' hands are bigger, can cover more shoulder area.. more shiok~
ow*~ my neck is reallllllly aching~
oh! yesterday, my company had our semi-annual fire drill! omg, so cuuuuuuuute!! this is why i love jap companies.. it's not work-all-day..
and this sunday, they're having their annual cross country ar bedok reservoir~ soooooooooo cute! haha~
anyway, during the fire drill, the entire company peeps gather at the carpark where our flag is [yes, the company has 3 flag poles and one flag which is up 24/7.. veri much like SKOOL.].. den they get volunteers out to practice extinguishing fires. the whollllllle thing took nearly one hour. and from wad i can see, they are A LOT of peeps working at pfssg.. didnt know that there were so much~ i roughly see....around a few hundred? dunno~
and i managed to take some pics of my eye candy: lenz!!
ohh lala~ haha.. actually, was kinda bored so i took pics around me.. took cam's and hazel's pics as well..
den soooo happen lenz got into the pic! haha~
Lenz!! the one in purple/maroon on your rite!! he's got the cutest dimples~
oh man, i cant see cam in this pic rite now~
Cam and Hazel..
with Low in btn [the one NOT in uniform] ah! maeda san!!
he's one of the cutest jap in PIA rite now~ cute as in cute, not cute as in hot and gorgeous. eh, if you cant find him, he's the one NOT in uniform and closest to the cam-era.
gosh, PIA peeps are just so noticeable among the uniforms...
*PIA = Panasonic Industrial [Asia]
=======================
anyway.. this sat, we'll be celebrating wanru's bday! okae, it's on the 13th but we're celebrating it on the 9th~ no choice.. i cant bear the tot of post-bday celebration. den jialing suggested celebrating dean's bday which fell on the 6th on the same day, since we never really celebrated his bday.. so i agreed... erm, depending on whether dean IS going or not. hehz..
he said that he can onli confirm with me tmw.. so....see how lor..
and i yue-ed wanru out before the bday dinner to treat her to Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End! oh no... pocket burning hole........ how to go hk and enjoy!???
hai~ budden nvm. fren mar. fren impt.
When it comes to the top attractions and sights in Hong Kong, it is hard to say exactly how they rank. After all, every person has his or her own preference. But I am quite certain about the top two. Perhaps after you have been here, you will have your own ranking.
Victoria Peak
Take the Peak Tram up and get a mangnificent view of the Kowloon Pennisula with Hong Kong Island buildings in the foreground. Best time - the later at night, the clearer the view.
Tsim Sha Tsui Waterfront
Stroll along the pedestrian-only promenade and enjoy the breathtaking view of the skyline of Hong Kong Island. Good time - any time; best time - after dark.
"Ladies' Market"
A street market that have grown from shopping grounds of locals to a hangout for both locals and tourists. T-shirts, watches, ties, jeans, and a slew of low-cost items can be found there. Best time to go - any time in the afternoon.
Stanley
An area with a small town feel. It is away from the densely populated Hong Kong with a market and a strip of restaurants plus a small shopping center. An old building moved there stone by stone has some nice restaurants.
Repulse Bay
A beach known for its gradual slope of shallow water. It does get crowded in summer.
Mongkok
A densely populated area teaming with activities day and night. Good place to go if you want to shop for consumer electronics.
Central District
The central business district and location of government buildings of Hong Kong. Ride the Mid-levels escalators up the hill and stop off for somewhere along the way for a meal.
Ocean Park
A theme park to see sea creatures, ride rides, ride cable gondolas, and say "hi" to pandas.
Sheung Wan District
Walk around on the side streets to the south of Des Voeux Rd and see shops and buildings that have retained a trace of the old Hongkong. Best time - day time.
Item Categories
If you want to look for a specific item, here is where the locals shop for:
Electronics
(e.g. cameras, WalkMan, DiscMan, MiniDisc players, video cameras, multi-system VCR/TV) - Sai Yeung Choi St. South, Mongkok. I would suggest that you check out the prices at the chain stores first.
Clothing
"Ladies' Market / Women Street":
Tung Choi Street, Mongkok. Accessible via MTR. more...
Granville Road, Tsim Sha Tsui
(there are many stores selling inexpensive slightly flawed or outlet clothing there - look closely before you leap to the cashier!)
Wanchai:
there are a few stores on Johnston Road right across from the MTR station that sell what seem to be outlet goods. more...
malls:
if you like name brands, malls and shopping centers in Tsim Sha Tsui, Central, Causeway Bay, and Admiralty districts, plus department stores will be the places to go.
Computers & supplies
Golden Shopping Arcade - in Sham Shui Po; books and computer supplies in basement and upper ground floor, then the 1st floor has all the computer hardware stores (it seems you must enter this through the outside stairs around the corner). Next to the Sham Shui Po MTR station. But beware that in the basement, the hallways are so crowded with people and the storekeepers' goods that it is downright dangerous in case of any emergency.
Winsor House - in Causeway Bay; close to the Causeway Bay MTR station. It is one of the most pleasant computer centers to look around in with three floors of shops. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, many shops seem to have moved elsewhere.
298 Computer Shopping Center - 298 Hennessy Road, Wanchai; between the Wanchai & Causeway Bay MTR stations. Probably easiest to get to by taking a tram going east towards Wanchai from Causeway Bay MTR. It is on the south side of the street close to Heard Street.
Mongkok Computer Center - Mongkok, close to intersection of Nelson St and Tung Choi Street. Close to the Bank Center exit of the Mongkok MTR station. Beware: though smoking is banned in shopping centers, there is still cigarette smoke here.
Wanchai Computer Center - located next to the Wanchai MTR, it has two floors of shops. It could get a bit crowded though.
Star House - next to the Star Ferry Pier in TST in Kowloon; some stores not open on Sundays. It is one of the more pleasant computer shopping centers.
chain-stores - there are a few chain stores that sell computers and electronic products. Good to check their prices first.
Phones / stereo / electronic parts
Ap Liu Street, Sham Shui Po, accessible by MTR. more...
Furniture
Hollywood Road - located in Central, this street is known for antique and cool furniture.
Wong Nai Chung Road - located in Happy Valley next to the race track, there are many designer furniture stores.
Cell Phones
chain-stores - there are a few telecom chain stores that sell cell phones and cellular service.
Ap Liu Street, Sham Shui Po, accessible by MTR. You can even find second-hand stores there. (It may not be a good place to shop for cell phones if you are gullable.) more...
Antiques
Hollywood Road - there are plenty of stores selling antiques there. From spectacles to furniture, you can find them there. But don't expect bargains!
Shopping Malls
There are some malls where you can find a variety of goods. Convenient ones include :
New Town Plaza : linked to the KCR Shatin Station and some other shopping centers. There is a fountain with regular water show synchronized to music. (It may be on the hour.) The Snoopy house is also around there. But beware, the mall is very crowded.
Ocean Center : in TST on Canton Road close to the Tsim Sha Tsui MTR station. It is also linked to a few other shopping centers. It gets sort of crowded too.
Cityplaza : A nice mall with an ice-skating rink and cinema on Hong Kong Island, linked to the Taikoo MTR station.
Pacific Place : on Hong Kong Island, linked to the Admiralty station of the MTR, complete with a cinema.
Telford Plaza : in Kowloon, linked to the Kowloon Bay MTR station, cinema just rebuilt not too long ago.
Grand Century Place : a mall linked to the KCR Mongkok Station, complete with a cinema. Crowded - after all, it is in Mongkok!
Times Square : a fairly new mall linked to the Causeway Bay MTR station, complete with a cinema.
Lok Fu : a shopping center with local clientiel; linked to the Lok Fu MTR station.
Festival Walk : linked to the Kowloon Tong MTR station. Quite new, complete with ice-skating rink, movie theatres, food court, and a supermarket.
Hollywood Plaza : linked to the Diamond Hill MTR station. Doesn't seem as crowded as others.
went to ps to meet june, Leonard, dijie, Sheryl and alan.. [names are arranged accordingly from the first to the last person I saw].. Sheryl was as usual, late.. but somehow, dijie [who’s known her for quite some time] was angry with her for smth Sheryl cant make any sense of.. anyway, let’s not ponder abt this~
den we watched PIRATES OF THE CARRIBBEAN: AT WORLD’S END.. actually, the “at world’s end” not veri relevant.. and den when they were emphasizing so much abt the pirate goddess [who is she? She’s always been there, just that we never realized that she’s actually A GODDESS!], making me anticipate a real exciting climax AND THEN before I know it, the climax is over. The goddess just grew into a giant, got angry and she sort off broke down into a looooooooooooooooooooot of crabs. Somehow, she likes crabs….. weird.. when they went to rescue jack sparrow, she used crabs to move the entire black pearl.. and let’s just say that the black pearl was HUMONGOUS. Haha… I like the scene when the crabs moved the ship on land.. oh yar, and I didn’t know that davy jones’ locker is actually a hugggge piece of land. Still dun understand why it’s called a locker..
anyway, at the end of the show [here’s a spoiler], after ten years, Elizabeth and Will actually still look the same!! And they had a child!! Wow…. Haha, SPOOOOOILER. Budden I guess many have watched the show by the time I blogged abt it..
hai, I am sleepy. I shall go sleep.. nitez..
6th June, 2007
great. I just wore a white hair band cos my blue one broke and my great mother went from “why you wear white hair band? White hair bands are for funeral” to “how come I have this kind of daughter. You curse me to death.”
HELLO!? I had no choice but to wear that stupid hair band!?
I know you absolutely love your son. But you dun have to hate me that much rite? I know you prefer having your son around. But you dun have to try means and ways to chase me out of the house rite? I know you practically worship your son. But you dun have to condemn me for every petty thing rite?
i am back
and to let you know, almost EVERY SINGLE STUFF which is still redundant is downloaded by my father, who was the previous owner.
anyway.. i blogged on microsoft word the whole while i couldnt blog.
